When it is 100 degrees at 8 AM, what time do you suppose is good to shoot bridals in August? 6 AM! Yep, these two love birds were up before the sun getting ready for this early morning bridal shoot today. I was barely getting coffee and she was in hair and makeup. They kept thanking me for getting up early. Working through the summer in this Arizona heat, early morning is your only option. Plus it provides this yummy contrast lighting. So no, thank you.
I love LDS Temples. They have the most immaculate grounds, flowers, trees, well…beauty. So many architectural lines and interesting framing options. We shot for an hour and did not even cover the grounds.
I can’t get over his suit though. I think that young grooms now are taking more chances with color and style than in the past years. Something else to marvel at is her bouquet. It is silk! Yep, what better way to ensure your bouquet lasts two days is to use beautiful silks. This is probably one of the best artificial bouquets I have seen. I think that more summer brides should consider silks. (Just please don’t tell my florist friends I said that!)
